Meet Dr. Janice Chan
Dr. Chan is a Bay Area native. She attended University of California, Berkeley where she majored in Integrative Biology. Following her dream to become a dentist, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). After dental school, Dr. Chan attended a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Highland Hospital – a University of Pacific School of Dentistry affiliated program, in Oakland, CA. She received extensive training in surgical procedures and comprehensive dental care. Dr. Chan strongly believes in staying current with continuing education programs, taking over 300 hours of advanced training each year. Dr. Chan recently completed the AAID Implant Maxicourse - a 300 hour comprehensive implant education course in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is passionate about helping you achieve your oral health goals by providing comprehensive dentistry.
Some of the community services projects Dr. Chan has participated in include, Give Kids A Smile Day, Special Olympics, Mission of Mercy projects, and CDA Cares. In her free time, Dr. Chan enjoys hiking, kayaking, and going to the beach.
Dr. Chan is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners, California Dental Society, and Berkeley Dental Society.

I grew up in the Bay Area but was born in Texas. I am one of the founders of the first kombucha tap room to open in the Bay Area. I enjoy cooking, baking, watching movies and spending time with my kids.

Hello! My name is Nilo and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have a passion for providing oral hygiene care using a compassionate and empathetic approach. I am committed to making each patient's dental visit a positive and educational experience. I take the time to educate patients about the importance of oral health and collaborate with them to create personalized home care plans that promote long-term wellness. During my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active, and traveling to new places.
